An alphabiotic alignment is a hands-on technique done while you lie face up, with firm, short, precise movements from the base of the skull. It aims to release tension in your spine, neck and shoulders. It includes a posture check and, in Playa del Carmen, costs MX$350.
What it involves
The alphabiotic alignment is the main technique of alphabiotics. The work is done from the base of the skull, where the spine meets the head, with firm, precise traction movements. No devices are used: everything is done by hand.
Before the alignment we check your posture and the tension in your back. If your muscles are very tight, we recommend starting with a massage to loosen them.

Frequently asked questions
Does the alphabiotic alignment make a cracking sound?
That is not the goal. It is a firm, brief movement; we explain it before we do it.
How often should I come?
It depends on the person. At the end of your session we tell you whether it makes sense to come back and how often, with no commitment.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just comfortable clothes. To book, all we need is your name and the time that works for you.
Is it the same as a chiropractic adjustment?
No. They are different techniques; read our comparison of alphabiotics and chiropractic.
